I’d like to learn more about NEBS, are there any seminars?

Yes, there are and each one provides an excellent introduction to NEBS. There’s generally 2 big (> 250 attendees) seminars sponsored by Verizon, Telcordia, and/or UL each year, and a few others by some NRTLs. Check out these sites for the latest information:
